Your instructor, Arthur Reed, MBA, CPA, MST analyzes tax fraud cases that have hit the headlines. He will then relate the violations to the IRS Circular 230 publication.In some cases the tax preparer’s violations went on for years, and it is amazing that the frauds went on as long as they did. Not only will this course cover the specifics of the fraud cases, it will provide important ethics updates for tax preparers. Also covered is the TIGTA report, EITC ethical issues, IRS bulletin 2017-35 and an overview of penalties.
