Course Description:This Excel 2003 course covers the basics of IF statements and then moves on to more complex logic statements.

Turn data into something you can use to make a decision. You start by creating a simple IF. From there you nest two IF statements together and then learn how to embed a function into an IF Statement. After that, you learn how to incorporate AND and OR functions which allow you to test up to 30 conditions. Finally,you move onto two functions that are not logic functions but should be- SUMIF and COUNTIF.

Materials are based on Excel2003 however lower versions of Excel can also be used - some of the dialog boxes differ in appearance.

Prerequisite
An intermediate knowledge of Excel is expected as is a working knowledge of file management. You should also have some familiarity with fuctions. You should be able to open and close fiels and move between sheets in a book.
